Red Ribbon Week was developed in 1998 to promote an awareness of the dangers of alcohol and other drugs. This week was developed to honor the memory of Enrique Camarena. During this week, we will have special activities to educate our students on the dangers of drugs and the importance of making positive choices. This year's theme is "Life is Your Journey: Travel Drug-Free!"

Tuesday, October 30 - "BES is too SMART to do drugs." - Dress as your favorite professional or chosen career
Wednesday, October 31 - "We Go By the Book - Don't Do Drugs" - Dress as your favorite Book Character
Thursday, November 1 - Drug-Free Around the World Day - Dress like you're from another country
Friday, November 2 - "My Future is BRIGHT without drugs." - Dress in neon clothing and sunglasses
