Principal's Message

My name is Michelle Brewer and I am proud to serve the students, parents, community and teachers as the principal of Beach Elementary! The opportunity to give back to the district that I attended from 1st through 12th grades brings a great sense of pride.  After graduating from Pascagoula High School, I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I studied elementary education. I taught at Singing River Elementary, Gautier Elementary and Martin Bluff Elementary. While teaching I attended Arkansas State University and obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. I served as the assistant principal at Martin Bluff Elementary for three years before Beach became my home.

Both my children attended and graduated from PGSD.  My husband Tommy is an assistant principal at Gautier High School. We reside in Jackson county and our roots make us proud to call this community home.

I believe that with high expectations and teamwork, great things are accomplished.  As we all work together to provide the best experiences possible, students gain the gift of an education that meets their individual needs.  As I work alongside the staff at Beach Elementary to produce successful, life-long learners the possibilities are endless.

I look forward to forming a partnership with you to help our children learn! If I can be of any help to you, please call the office or email me at [email protected].
